Bell Pottinger group MD David Wilson has been handed an additional brief as chairman of Bell Pottinger’s consumer practise.
Kevin Read, MD of corporate and brand, becomes chairman with a remit covering Wired, the groups digital arm. Read will be replaced as MD by Hugh Taggart, a former partner in the corporate and brand practice.
In addition, Emily Luscombe has been promoted from her position as a partner to the new role of deputy MD of the practice.
James Henderson, Bell Pottinger group CEO, said: “We have made tremendous progress as a business in the two-and-a-half years since our MBO. In this time we have recruited great new talent, driven an industry-leading integrated communications approach, improved the skills we have across the group to deliver exceptional work to our existing clients and grown in every area of our business.”
