The Lib Dems former director of political communications and long term Clegg staffer Tim Snowball has been appointed head of political strategy at PR agency PHA Media.
Snowball replaces Jo Foster, a former deputy chief of staff to Nick Clegg, who left the agency after only nine months to join PHA client Ministry of Sound as head of communications.
Snowball is to build a new team and develop PHA Media’s political practise beyond current clients the International Consortium of British Pensioners and Kennedy Scott.
Snowball has held a number of positions in Lib Dem HQ and spent a year in the Deputy Prime Ministers Office in 2011, when he was named as the 50th most influential Lib Dem by the Daily Telegraph.
PHA media was established in 2005 by former News of the World editor Phill Hall.
