Gee urged women to consider their work-life balance, support and encourage others and lead by example as she addressed the 70 women gathered at her company’s headquarters on Kingsway.
Margot James MP shared her experiences of setting up her own agency business and the sometimes challenging gender politics of the political world.
The popular network was set up two years ago by Laura Gilmore, head of the Liberal Democrat’s whips office in the House of Lords and Ella Fallows, deputy head of political intelligence at lobbyists Lexington Communications.
Speaking of the event, Fallows and Gilmore said:
